Tim Dakin is the Clinical Director at Community Counseling Associates. Licensed since 1986, he also works in private practice in Fair Oaks, specializing in individual as well as marital therapy. He holds graduate degrees in theology (Fuller Theological Seminary) and educational psychology (University of San Francisco). Tim and Terry have been married since 1977 and have two grown children. He has taught at Western Seminary and served on the staff at Fair Oaks Church, in Fair Oaks, CA.

Clinical Supervisor

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor of MFT Interns/Associates & Trainees for almost 30 years, I enjoy working with clients and with new professionals in the field who are gaining the experience and knowledge to become licensed. As Clinical Supervisor, I am required to ensure that all the counseling performed each week by the Associates or trainees is professional, adequate and consistent with their education, training, and experience. In addition to my role as Clinical Supervisor, I have a full time private practice in Elk Grove at Creekside Counseling Associates. I am also a past Adjunct Faculty member for Western Seminary. JON HOLMES

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

I have been a licensed therapist since 2008 and have graduate degrees in Pastoral Counseling (MDiv) and Clinical Counseling (MAMFT) from Western Seminary. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists training for licensure. For me, a compassionate life-change approach is foundational and puts to rest the voices of criticism and condemnation. Much of my training and continuing education since becoming licensed as a psychotherapist are in the fields of neuroscience and research on therapeutic practices from quantum physics and the spirituality of change. I am also an Amen Clinics affiliate psychotherapist with training in brain health and wellbeing. The primary areas I work in are: Addiction Recovery, Bipolar Disorder, Brain Injury Recovery, Generalized Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), ADHD (Adults & Teens), Christian Counseling (when requested), Relationship Restoration, Divorce Recovery for Men, and Personality Disorders.
